Accreditation Appeals Procedures
A health department may appeal denial of initial accreditation status or revocation of accredited status as a result of a decision by the PHAB Board of Directors.
The Accreditation Appeals Procedures (see Appendix 3 from the Guide to National Public Health Department Accreditation Version 1.0), adopted by the PHAB Board of Directors, describe the grounds for appeal, steps for initiating an appeal, PHABʼs review and decision procedures, and post appeal procedures.
