PHAB, as a learning organization, has been working to develop improvements in the process for health departments to seek accreditation. The accreditation process is set forth in the PHAB Guide to National Public Health Department Accreditation. PHAB will release a revised Guide to National Public Health Department Accreditation in the summer of 2015.
While the overall accreditation process will not be changed, several adjustments are being considered to streamline steps and ensure efficiency throughout the process. PHAB’s Accreditation Improvement Committee has carefully considered proposed adjustments and requests your feedback and recommendations. Comments will be accepted via the link below through March 31, 2015.
