Public Health Research

The Public Health Accreditation Board Research and Evaluation Committee developed, and the PHAB Board of Directors approved, an Accreditation System Logic Model, a PHAB specific evaluation logic model, an accreditation research agenda.

PHAB is committed to evaluation as part of its own quality improvement plan and to research into the questions related to the performance of accredited health departments. PHAB will eventually be able to share its aggregate data, through data use agreement policies, with public health system researchers, in order to inform best, promising, and evidence-based practices in public health for the future.
